Hello Zabbro, I've been watching but haven't been around and too busy to post recently.
Many moons ago, 2017, I had posted a TLS chart showing TLS's large size falls and noticed that around -25% was a common large size fall before a bounce occurred. I have prepared a similar chart now. A few weeks back around ex div, I had calculated and mentioned something like, " a proper bleed would be around $2.65 but I don't think it will go there". I was wrong and it did go there. But I did envisage $2.65. I had calculated that $2.65 based on a -25% drop from the July 10 high of $3.54 from historical falls. Although I didn't think TLS would drop so much after ex div, I knew that if it did, it would not come good till around $2.65 (0.75, -25%) and that is exactly the number we got, unfortunately. I bought under $3.00 but still way too early and currently sitting on a loss. Goes to show you to never underestimate the markets and stocks, also shows you how much of a dog stock TLS is.
Today we touched the 22EMA line that I often use. But we didn't get about it. It is now the second time attempt at overcoming the 22EMA. We need that. The RSI is also just shy of touching the 50 line.
To the current moment an whether $2.66 was it? Well, TLS is such a weak and dog stock that I would not be surprised if this is again a dummy bounce and we resume lower to get $2.60 as in June 2018. The behavior of the RSI looks similar to that of 2015 downdraft as shown. It is possible that the RSI will go up just a little more to contact the 50 line and because it is in a bear market, it can't overcome it and falls back down and so the share price comes down again to make a new low to $2.60. I have this scenario on my mind.
We will know when the RSI touches 50 and we see if it can overcome 50. We will also know by the 22 EMA. If the price can sit above the 22 EMA for a few days and rise above it.
We are however in the zone for gains whether it be $2.66 or $2.60.
I say $3.29 by February 2021. And I see $3.29 as the resistance point. If can overcome $3.29, then the bear market for TLS is over. If not, then back down she comes.
This is my take and input for today.
