Ann: Board Changes, page-2

Well. First of all, a big thanks to Phil.

He did a fantastic job in turning around the company. I thought he might stay for another 12 months but if he figures the 'job' got done quicker than expected, then so be it.

I was happy to see the the departure is 'staggered' with Phil hanging in via a consultancy till the end of the year. Amicable. And I suppose it will give Blair some time to re-settle.

The announcement caught me by a bit of a surprise as I thought he might time it when the Ducati deal gets 'sealed'. But it also makes me think that (or something else) will drop very soon.

The 'earlier' than expected quarterly release signalled for me that another announcement was brewing. I would have preferred they would drop in a different order. Ducati (or something like that) and then Phil departs but not to be.

Thanks again Phil. Great job. He is leaving the company in a vastly improved position compared to when he 'entered the door'.
