Yes - there are odd things all over the place and I am now beginning to wonder if Albemarle intends to knock on the PLS door as part of its’ OZ expansion.
The people there have a long term relationship with Resource Capital Fund’s James McClellan through the Greenbushes Talison operation.
(At Greenbushes Albemarle shares spodumene with Tianqi, but all the tantalum goes to GAM - Global Advanced Metals [website] where James and another MIN director, Kevin Flynn, are on the board of directors. )
Greenbushes has seemingly been a lucrative operation for them with plenty of time to make some key alliances despite the numerous court cases?

As an aside, in December 2017, PLS also signed a tantalum deal with GAM -[see here].

It is all looking very tangled.
