Lit funders are interested in getting 30-40 per cent of your settlement as quick as possible.
They are pragmatic and unemotional. They have sharholders to keep happy (we were shareholders of companys once.... oops sorry ANZ nominees were) Anyways, the lit funders would settle for a 50 per cent settlement now of which you lose 30-40 % of that rather than risk fighting for you to maybe get 30-40 % of 100 per cent in 5 years.
