I think we're largely in furious agreement. I'm just saying lot's of boxes to tick on the way through. With regards to your point re: the $2.5m to package multiple different technologies into a single point of entry - it strikes me this requires the expertise of a dedicated highly capable and proven project manager and not someone who requires highly detailed knowledge of all the technologies being incorporated. It needs someone who can bring the right people together to problem solve and not do the problem solving themselves.
