Cannot believe the amount of people saying, "I told you so". Anyone that looked at the balance sheet knows this was on the cards so let's drop the "Oracle of IOU" act please.

Interesting that the company have cited the raise being for the BNPL push. I read an article this week which discussed all the BNPL companies on the ASX. I didn't see IOU on that list. Is $4m really going to make a big difference for the company in regards to their BNPL offering? I don't think so. I see the $4m going to normal operating expenses but it sends a very big signal to the market that this is a BNPL company operating in the SEA region. Probably more important than the money being raised if you ask me.

Announcing merchants coming on board shortly after the raise will cause the share price to increase significantly in my opinion. I believe we'll see an initial drop in the share price to the price of the shares issued in the raise followed by an increase in the share price to a market cap closer to peers in the BNPL sector. My opinion only.
