Seems to me it's all making sense though. I'm a director in BON (and MAK) and I want cheap MAK shares for my BON. Use some of my NZ broking mates to drive the MAK price down to a much lower level than the recent highs of 70c odd. As such, I get twice the amount of MAK shares than I would have got when at it's recent highs.
Lose my crappy BON shares and get some MAK on the cheap.
