Tell that to the unions who price labour rates to the point of un-competitiveness.
If the unions actually got on board and worked with industry instead being protectionist there would be more labour jobs in Australia than we could cope with... and when there are more jobs than workers, well you not what happens to labour rates.
Maybe I am being too idealistic, but imagine a renewable sector union that got behind renewable industries to create jobs.
...and of course we would need Govt to step up as well and support the value add industries.
They have spent a crap load already a few more billion wont hurt them...
