While the wording was a concern, as they do raise the issue of whether Becton can be classified as a going concern, you will also note that they listed the actions that the directors are taking to strengthen the company.

I think that they obviously needed to cover themselves, in case the company does not succeed in some of its current initiatives. I think the likelihood of liquidation is relatively low and certainly not high enough to reflect so heavily on the share price. Even if the company did go into administration, there is a lot of asset value there. Even written down heavily, there should still be value for shareholders that have bought at lower prices (sub 10 cents).
