Good Morning Sewell,
Just out of interest, how much Co2 do you believe is produced during the production of fossil fuel. (assuming it is produced by renewable energy)
Would the production of FGR Petroleum feedstock have a similar Co2 as the Catalyst Hazer needs - Iron ore, which is produced by mining and is transported to its production facilities - these produce Co2.
IMO you have made a few wild assumptions without knowing what FGR's preferred feedstock is or the extraction process required to produce this feedstock.
What is important is it produces up to 94% high-quality Graphene (not Graphite).
The announcement details the Graphene will be used in Energy Storage, the by product is around 6% hydrogen - (Green or Blue)
IMO the Co2 to produce this type of Graphene, will be lower than the mining and energy-intensive methods to produce Graphite anodes (subject to scaling).
