There would be a number of nervous farmers out there who have delivered their grain to AWB's pools from the 2008 harvest and even those with equity remaining in the 2007 pools. Will they ever get paid now?

If AWB goes down before planting of this year's crop in May we could see a big wave of foreclosures and a significant percentage of the nation's cropland rendered fallow for 2009 while funding is rationed away from farms.
