Not often you congratulate a company for not going ahead with something, but in this case I certainly would.
MML is not the first to play in the river below the Mt Lyell operations and probably will not be the last. But if you do your homework on the metallurgy it is the hardest type of recovery around,coupled with cruddy alluvial conditions-you drive past the stuff and enjoy the hospitality of Strahan, you do not paddle in the river!
The company has a big task ahead of it in Mindanao, it did not need this distraction.
