It's not the remoteness that would make any project uncommercial, it's the lack of enough freely available oil.

If it was the remoteness that was the issue, no one would have gone to Alaska in the first place, as it's very remote.

But, over time they have built an 800 mile pipeline through the state, top to bottom, and a network of other pipelines and service roads all over the North Slope.

It's the quantity that will ultimately determine the breakeven, then you'll know whether it's commercial or not.
