Shares work similar to control systems they overshoot and then come back and settle at a fair value for that current point in time. What you call a downtrend a lot of people just call dropping back to a holding price after the initial rush has finished.

It'll likely hold around these levels now (maybe lower maybe higher, who knows) until a decision is made. Then depending on if the decision is for or against share price will drop or shoot to new highs.

Don't speak for anyone but yourself. If I sat down tonight and looked to buy in I would think now is a better time than on the 28/9/20. Before BPH started its "downtrend" as you have called it.
