Hi 101. Had a bit of a chuckle to myself. That layer of "intermediate volcaniclastics" has got to be Permian glacial sandy clays.

I don't know how experienced you are but I'll assume you've logged a few metres of it yourself. Guess the senior geo from BMGS hasn't.

I made my boss look like an fool years ago when he logged Permian glacials as intermediate volcanics right across a large drill program before I got there. I tried to tell him it was glacial clays but he didn't believe me until we hit running sands underneath his 'intermediate volcanics' with the diamond rig.
