    @wogarlb; I've debated Fitzgibbon in person, he's intellectually compromised and qualified not only as dead wood but as ossified wood.

    A stronger leader than Albanese would already have dealt with Fitzgibbon, his failure to do so reflects poorly on him and an indication that he's not cut out to be a PM. Contrast that with the leadership of Daniel Andrews - no internal compromises, clarity of decisions and an incredibly strong focus on what needs to be done.

    The mateship between Albanese and Fitzgibbon may well have cost Albanese credibility with the Australian People and may soon lead to him stepping aside as Labor Leader.
