ben benanke is supposed to be a great depression expert

there is a chance that we know absolutely nothing about how to control an economy

if so all of study in economics has been a complete waste of time

most people here think we can do absolutely nothing

but I doubt it

I am watching a show on climate change

there is some doubt about whether we can do anything to stop it

if we can't we are doomed

but there is a good arguement ie chinese want cars etc and all efforts to save the environment are useless

same argument here

we can't do anything to avert a depression we are stuffed
