Its called herd mentality.

The main motivation of traders at the moment is fear.

Instead of living the self fulfilling prophecy, let's have the confidence to judge each investment on it's merits, based on the original reasons why that investment was made.

I did that having originally purchased in the 60's, I continued to add, on 3 occassions as the price slipped to 12. If I thought they were worth 60 and nothing had changed, there is only one reason why I wouldn't buy some at 20% of that price.
