Not really sure how the rest of the country is performing, but there doesn't seem to be too many problems with the Perth rental market. The real estate agent that handles my investment property gave me a shortlist of five applications to choose from, from 19....a couple had even offered to pay a few months rent in advance...and it's just a decent house in a decent area.

I was happy with $360/wk, but in light of how many applied, I am sure I could have asked for more, and got it.
