Again, all valid points. I'm quite thankful that our discussions on ATS have been civil and respectful - which is a lot more than I can say about most of the other threads around HC.
I thought EF was about $100 a barrel for Aurora, but could be wrong. Still a long way to get to that point, but I think we'd all agree that we don't necessarily need ATS to be as valuable as Aurora. If we unlocked 25% of the value, many would be happy. I also think we all agree that, like with any stock of this nature, there are certainly risks involved and you have more than adequately identified them. I certainly can't argue the point on the technical drilling aspect, as this is something I am not well versed in so for me I take your technical analysis as great insight. Can I ask where you learnt about these matters? I'd be keen to increase my basic knowledge - my strength is more the finance and macroeconomics side. What I'm counting on is that well's have been drilled before in this area and they therefore can be drilled again (albeit its not easy). I'm also counting on processes and technology to continue to improve to be able to easily extract the oil.
There is no certainty with any stock, but personally for an average cost of under 0.033 the risk outweighs the benefits. If the price had of been at 40c a share, there probably wouldn't have been enough upside reward to offset the downside risk. We are at a point where there's no silver bullet, but at the same time the situation is far from terminal.
