It takes time, money, an effort, persistence and a bit of luck too (some scientists, 20 years ago did claim that the exploration luck contributed to 28 % of all successful discoveries) ... and we all know how lucky some recent discoveries eg hitting the game changer deposit on the last drill or finding a monster gold province in the area where "there is not gold" as it was under 30 M of cover and the company has become an overnight sensation (after 17 years of exploration!) with ever present a group of unhappy holders...

These days persistence, negotiation and geological skills of the team have produced eg VMS' serious prospects... but it is good idea to relax ...dreaming about huge and lucky discoveries like eg Broken Hill & Olympic Dam' VMS deposits or major Gold province discoveries/ DYOR:
