As I thought, AMD is taking up their rights. Good to see the directors putting their hands in their pockets as well, though I’d like to see Dennis Lin get some more skin in the game. He only holds a measly 79,000 shares.
I’d be surprised if (John Cheadle ATF) Global Foods and RHO vendors (Citicorp Nominees) don’t take up their rights as well, who are the second and third largest BUG shareholders. They hold ~27% between them so account for another $1.1m.
I’m assuming AMD will also apply for shares under the “top up” facility for any rights shortfall. Hopefully AMD are treated the same as other shareholders here, I wouldn’t want them to use this as an opportunity to creep up the register, on the cheap.
