I don't like it either but at the time the shares were issued, they were around 8c.... and no-one complained then about taking share options vs cash. It is due to the technology IMC have finally starting to pay off after many years that has allowed the price to now jump to 25c and more likely 60 - $1.00 once the trials are done and assuming they are positive.
