I have noticed SFG brand prawns seem more available in Melbourne at present (and compared to previous years) which may be because certain export markets have dried up and they are now concentrating on the local market but I wonder if anyone knows why they are generally sold "thawed for your convenience". I, for one, would buy them more often if they were still frozen as getting them thawed means they need to be consumed pretty much that night.
