It must be leaking now...
China obviously desires free trading with its 14 neighbouring countries. It's pretty clear China benefits from this, while India perhaps suffers.
And with Japan and Australia now stronger allies than ever, China can't exactly impose tariffs on Australian barley, cotton, wool, beef/steaks, wine, coal etc...while asking 14 other countries to transition towards zero tariffs.
Make sense to me. For China I guess it's WIN BIG, lose small.
