Over time my view has changed i guess, the more i think about it CCR could chase up for companies like afterpay. The late fees are not the end game for Afterpay and other BNPL it is about having a critical mass of retailers using their service.
$40 million in late fees is minor in comparison to the market cap which is a 29 billion. It also get the governments attention when the late fees for BNPL companies are discussed and may lead to tighter regulations in the future. The point is they need to get the debt repaid and a payment platform like CCR may be able to assist and work with the customer to enable payment of amounts owing.
