Not sure about learning process either but the thought occurred that they talk about the power savings involved in using the SNN. One way in which to speed up the learning power in CNN is to throw lots high performance high power using GPU’s at it. This Is great for testing their model but in practical application they need the tiniest most space efficient device which is not intrusive comfortable to wear and unlikely as some of the older 24 hour heart rate monitors are to run out of battery requiring the patient to start the process all over again.

The other day someone (apologies for not remembering who) posted an article about swarm robotic drones learning from each other.

This ability of an intelligent device to learn and share knowledge with other similar devices is a key feature of AKIDA technologies.

The ability to update one of these heart monitors with new data when another piece of the cardiac health puzzle comes to light and then have the device instantly share that update with all other devices in a hospital or clinic is a very attractive additional feature of AKIDA technology.
