To be honest, US seems to be mid-meltdown as a nation right now, so I won't be surprised if the FDA is running behind.

Seriously thought, FDA is probably under a lot of pressure from the Orange Underlord right now, with another vaccine coming through so may be getting distracted from doing their actual job.
