as a 10 year + competitive squash player I am now starting to fall to bits, so my back and knees do not allow me to play..I lived in Japan many years ago and played in the local competition. This was my first intro to baseball and ever since then I have loved the game and the MLB is awesome to watch. From now I will need to live my Baseball through my son who is 4 so is a tad too young still.
We go and play catch...and a 1 meter throw is great fun...I don't know what age they start here in AUS but if I can get him into stickball or something in the next year or so I will...then the local league...then state..then national..then the minors..then the majors where he is picked up by a LA or Miami team, preferably the Marlins..then he can buy me a house and I can live out my days in a warm climate and prodly watch him become MVP from the corporate box..
so..all up, he is not under much pressure!
