find8, you're dreaming mate. SBM couldn't just go "wham" from zero up to 100,000oz in 6-9 months, and they had over $300m of shareholders' money to spend.
Anyway, I think that the premise of this thread is a bit wayward. It is a pretty standard, formulaic piece of language in annual and semi-annual reports that says the directors considered but decided not to, pay a dividend.
