I know exactly how franking credits work as I receive several thousand $$ each year. The point i made was that both neg gear changes and franking credit changes both had support across the voting spectrum. Neg gear was to grandfather existing arrangements and encourage new construction. Seems to me that new construction is exactly what this LNP govt are trying to do with the multitude of free money handed out.
