Given the people of Parafield a chance to fix this. When I watch the news and see long line of people to get tested then I don't hold much hope. People should stay at home to prevent transmission, wash hands and cover their cough. Waiting in queues ain't going to help. How do contract tracers work with tracing people who stand in queues for hours.
A part of me supports the short lockdown (at start of outbreak), since I supported the early quarantine of incoming passengers (which took to long to implement). However, the liberals much have a plan to open up after the 6 days. No extensions.
All of city lockdowns should be short and either at the commencement of an outbreak or when the hopitals are over run. Neither occurred in Melbourne. Let hope the liberals do better than labor.
