Dan said this deal came from a geologically sound base. The resource is under drilled and no long-term view had been taken on it. They have rebuilt the geological model, redesigned the mine and extensively costed it. Dan sounds quite positive this will be a sound strategic fit and will be value accretive for shareholders.

I found interesting the comments about the right 'tension' between exploration and future capital investments.

It boils down to, do we trust that this decision is in the best interest of shareholders? Management and the Board certainly think so. We are not privy to all of the geological, operational and financial modelling that has been done. The due diligence appears to be extensive.
