Hello All. Long time follower, first time poster and diligent accumulator of pm8 since June 2019. As a beginner investor at that stage (I'd only been at it for just over a year by then) and pretty clueless, my entire strategy consisted of reading announcements daily and then occasionally buying $1000 on what I thought was ok, and only after purchase then doing some research. Lucky for me, that is literally how I stumbled across Pensana. I tell you this because I wanted to say thankyou first off to the long term posters since that time as it was the quality of your research and discussion on these threads specifically that made me go 'Hang on, there just might be something to this rare earth stuff and I think maybe I backed a winner by accident and perhaps I should look carefully at these things they are talking about and do my own research'. Not only did that make me a much better investor who now made informed decisions, but in doing that research it also unwaveringly convinced me that my money was in the right place. In my opinion, absolutely nothing has changed since then! In fact as many of you have rightly pointed out, as holders of Pensana we are perfectly positioned to capitalise on a perfect storm of macro environmental factors and we have an absolutely amazing BOD acting on our behalf to ensure we do. I know it is hard for new holders especially to stay the course when you see red in the ledger, but the way I see it, Rome was not built in a day. I've done my research and continue to read every development I can, consequently on days like today, I continue to accumulate and I have absolutely no concerns in doing so (and FYI - I definitely no longer buy in $500 lots!!!!) !
Just a final weigh in from me on the share price fluctuations. The first big drop was on the 17th Sept after a stella run. That day, Apple announced it would use 100% recycled rare earth elements in a key component of their new phones and rare earth stocks that day seemed to tank across the board. I guess if you were un-informed and thought smart phones were the only thing rare earths were used for, maybe you would sell. Me? I bought more pm8. The next share price drop commenced mid Oct, again after another great run. Around then, some of the science journals published some interesting hypothesis research on a new way of predicting and uncovering rare earth deposits. Is it related? I don't know. Does it matter? Depends on your perspective I guess. I read it and thought, jeepers, imagine if they could use that in fast tracking Coola? How exciting!!?! And then I bought more . . . .
