retail is falling out of favour just look at all the other retail stocks.
secondly, if i was a holder, I wouldn't like the board holding company to ransom. You basically saying, give me xxx money else I'm leaving. If they can do it once, who's to say they can't do it again. There's a reason why management is so high on the list of criteria for investing in a company, this is your company, you are a part owner, you need to remember that. The ceo and the board works for you, not the other way around.
