I have a friend who's hubby recently came back from Afghanistan and he is an absolute mess. It's a daily battle to make sure he doesn't top himself. Fortunately he has opened up to me and I have been able to point him in the direction of the right professional help. I have suffered PTSD from other areas in my life but I am able to relate to his suffering and offer him some understanding.
