FF, my opinion only (actually that is a lie, I should say "in the opinion of most here") you are the gold standard in facts BRN. There is absolutely no contest that you are far ahead in this small corner of the expanding Neuromorphic game.
I have watched the demos of toys and photos many times. I've watched grass grow and paint dry with similar degrees of stimulation. This has been a tortuous journey, with many backtracks, but also highlights and a few watershed moments.
But for me personally, Anil's presentation to the Field Day was the latest...and most compelling... of a few epiphany moments I've experienced since first buying into AZK in 2015. When Anil mentioned the power required by so-called alternatives being sufficient to fry an egg on your head, that connected with BarrelSitter's comment a week back: "4 incandescent light globes of 60 W. Remember trying to change one of those when it was hot."
As others have already said, Anil's presentation wasn't flash, but it was definitely sufficiently powerful to cause light bulbs to flash for many of the Field Day delegates! And by my read they were all making notes (and comments) to switch from incandescent convolutional to LED-like neuromorphic!
While some were disappointed with the Field Day presentation, for me that little all seeing-hearing-smelling-tasting-feeling- dude:

...was the star of the show. At the same time as he was adding credence to BRN's low-power characteristics and best-of-class qualities at the edge, the General Purpose AI tag really felt comfortable, when the simplicity of connecting various and many inputs to Akida's networks was explained.
I reckon we are seeing the first outing leading on to cult status for little BRiaN, if I can so christen him
FF, no doubt you are dragging us collectively towards information which you know as old hat, but which provides many of us with penny-dropping moments as we hop/skip and try to keep up. So thanks for all your tolerance to date and forbearance in future. I for one am again reassured that we are on a road to somewhere and that Somewhere is indeed a very large place!
