Redbubble has a 3-way value proposition, one of the reasons I bought shares. All parties are winners. Customer gets a unique product, artist has a cheap platform to make money from and Redbubble makes money from platform they provide the artist/customers. Redbubble also benefits from artists who could be providing free advertising for Redbubble like in this video.
