@pints; the USA has so many more WMDs than everyone else combined any question about current military might is a no-brainer.
Going forward though that massive stockpile of US WMDs is aging and becoming obsolete. Trump has so bankrupted the USA its capacity for renewal of its WMDs is not what it used to be.
In contrast China is able to do what it's done with building new modern cities and is far less constrained by hideously expensive and rapidly aging WMDs.
As for the warning about the CCP's lust for power; isn't that what we're currently witnessing from the worst President in US history - a would-be dicktator?
