Whilst I would like to agree --------- the weakness of mankind shows us that there will be many people who take a god in the foreseeable future

our species is just too weak to stand alone and take responsibility for their own actions - many just have to have an external power to kneel before, to blame and to ask for help and - they need it as tangible as they can get - so, they write words and pretend that it is the words of their 'whatever' - or they draw pictures of it or make sculptures of it - then, some try to force it onto everyone else

it's the weaklings in our species ---------- no amount of education will totally rid us of such weakness for a long time I'm afraid



and, of course - it's an easy gig to fall into - because if what we can 'more or less' see and experience - is all there is -------------- then, what indeed, one may legitimately ask - was the bloody point - what a waste of effort and pointless exercise it all is
