For mine, two key news items last week: 1) central banks were net buyers of gold in January 09... when did that last happen? and 2) Swiss Franc intervention / devaluation by their central bank.

With even the Swiss now intervening to devalue the safest-of-safe fiat currencies, what does that say for all the others and where does one now park their hard earned? Talk about a race to the bottom... no kidding bankers and the rich are buying gold again.
