Traders (punters) that buzz around a stock selling a profitable position on day X because they plan to re-enter for a cheaper price on day Y are using a false economy to yield fantasy profits.
Factor in your CGT + costs and you likely need to execute every single one of those trades by at least 20%+ margin to make even one dollar. Nobody in the world can do that with any consistency.
