PRU was at 1,60AUD when Gold was at 700$/Oz. Why should now the 11$ decrese influence the PRU SP in any way?
PRU is not attached to the POG atm imo. PRU would drop drastically if CIG sells the rest of their holdings although POG rises to e.g. 1500$/Oz.
So, other circumstances to consider but the POG (sure not to take out of focus completely).
