not sure (although I'm happy to be proven wrong) how cannaccord are any different from other VC's/Investment Managers, they drive a bargain, get their clients in on the act, the client puts the money in, gets a profit & sells, it's not like having a single "angel investor" who brings far more stability.
I've been involved with a recent CR on another firm & it was done with Euroz, another firm with a great reputation, CR was done a week ago & selling has been absolutely incessant since then, not saying that will happen here, different company, different sector etc - but what I am saying is it's a group of individuals, if you paid $300K for shares " $1.70 & saw that they were $2.50, you'd be happy to walk away with a 46% profit for a few days work lending your money.
I guess no one really knows what will happen, best answer will be not to watch the share price, just listen to the story & since i have been here, management have been nothing short of bloody impressive.
