Around 450 of the worlds top 500 supercomputers use Intel processors so I would hardly say no one in HPC uses Intel.
DUG also utilise nvidia/AMD GPUs for certain workloads where it makes sense to use them.
DUG have really only just started marketing their services to non oil and gas companies, and during the recent company presentation the MD mentioned that they are expecting to announce some big name signatures over the coming months with dozens of evaluations being completed as we speak.
