Same production method but the fundamental difference is in the geology. Linc energies field in the Surat basin in Qld posed direct threat of contamination to ground water connected to rivers/humans/agriculture etc, whereas Leigh CK's field is in a sub basin where the ground water is stagnant and does not flow to surrounding water ways. Refer to early announcements by the company regarding ground water monitoring for further discussion
