The Nextgate suite undertakes proveable linkage of people in the health system. It is common for facilities to end up with the same person registered more than once. Nextgate uses advances algorithms to identify these likely duplicates, so that they can be linked together.

The Miya platform links information about the same patient (that is, a patient with a single identifier) into a single viewer. So Miya needs Nextgate to link duplicate patient registration records together, so the transaction records for the two identifiers can also be linked together.

And don't even start me on the number of times and IDs that clinicians use!!
