We have still to see Peter van der Mades recent presentation however the following is a paper commissioned by DARPA to explore the feasibility of doing what AKD1000 has made real.
It seems reasonable to consider the possibility that DARPA’s interest in 2018 in the feasibility of a SCNN using STDP has been ongoing:
