How are they in breach of the listing rules? The announcement said quite clearly-:
"The company expects to seek reinstatement to normal trading by Wed 18th March 2009 subject to completion of the transaction"
It is logical that if they felt that they needed more time to execute, they would have informed the market before trading opened since "normal trading time" was the point of reference. However they have not! Therefore "seeking reinstatement to normal trading" can in fact be done at any time between 10am and 4pm on Wed 18th March 2009.
Such logic would imply that at some point today, an announcement will be made and reinstatement to normal trading executed. By doing so, they have done exactly what they have said in their announcement advising of suspension request and have therefore not breached any listing rules.
