Mgmt have been incredibly lax (perhaps naive) in marketing the company to institutional investors. They also tend to make grandiose statements and tend to forget about updating the market on status.
I don't disagree that its a renewal, but its not a given that the contract would renew given new drugs, new programs etc.....what seems a little desperate is the 70bn listed company etc. They did a similar thing with the deals in Asia and UK, but there seems little in the way of updates on those.
Again I don't disagree, and perhaps they are desperate to fill that retail offering (given they need the funds to grow), but given their previous inaction in courting investors, they are going to have to pull out all stops to get the retail investors interested.
What I believe would have helped is some updates on progress in Asia & UK although given the lack of update, I suspect it is not all going as quickly as anticipated......likely another pretty mediocre contribution from those initiatives in 1H21.
